Rain continued as we traveled from Salzburg to Munich, and on to Füssen, Germany. We were scouting around looking for lodging when we passed by the "Happy Sleep House". It's run by a young lady from Hong Kong and our room is about like Harry Potter's spot under the stairs, but it's cheap for this town and will give us conversation material for a while.

This is the neighborhood of King Ludwig's Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. The latter is the "Cinderella" castle. They are actually in the village of Schwangau, which is about 2.5 miles from here. We were going to ride the bus down to see about tickets for tomorrow, but the next bus was nearly an hour away, so we walked. We reserved tickets for a tour in the morning and walked back rather than wait for the bus again. We found a nice Chinese restaurant for supper and fell off our diets at a terrific local bakery.
