We had a bit of trouble figuring out what to do with our luggage while we were in Seward. There were no lockers at the port or anywhere else in town, but finally we found out we could leave our things at the office of the company that provides shuttle service to the glacier, Exit Glacier Guides. We took the free town shuttle over there, signed up for their 1:30 pm shuttle out to the glacier and stashed our bags in their back room, then walked down to the SeaLife Center.

I have two videos posted on YouTube that I took at the SeaLife Center: Sea otters playing (25s) and swimming birds (22s).

After lunch, we walked back to Exit Glacier Guides and were driven out to Exit Glacier where we joined a Ranger-led hike up to the glacier.

The people on the hill to the right is where the remaining photos were taken.

The glacier looks closer than it actually is.

After our hike up to the glacier, we took the Exit Glacier Guides shuttle back to where we'd left our bags, then rode the free town shuttle to where the Seward Express coach departed for Anchorage.
