Lighthouse Park was also the location of the Ireland flashback (shoreline where MacLeod rows away), the hillside where MacLeod trains Richie, and also, most likely, where the 'rocky forest shoreline' in 2x04 'The Darkness' was filmed. We looked around as much as we could but were unable to find the exact locations for the less obvious scenes.
These were taken from the Holland America cruise ship as we were leaving Vancouver. I had not realized that we would be passing by the lighthouse, so being able to get these photos was a pleasant surprise.
Honestly, this area didn't seem big enough, but it's the only place we found that was even close to the right size with a drop-off behind it, and twenty years of erosion and plant growth certainly could have changed how it looks. If this *isn't* the right place, I don't know where it is. If I remember correctly, we followed Seven Sisters Trail past the Lighthouse Viewpoint to get to this location. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
