On my first visit, I couldn't figure out the route Amanda & Carolyn traveled and ended up guessing wrong. Part of my confusion stemmed from the fact that the waterfront was redone sometime after the series was filmed, and there is now a restaurant at the corner they walk past, which was added in 2004. These photos are at [49.293117,-123.131310], west of where they actually were.
The redevelopment of the waterfront also confused us in regards to the newspaper scene in 'The Valkyrie'. It was filmed just east of the 'Dramatic License' location, but we originally thought it was at [49.290567,-123.125911]. As I was making the screenshots I realized it had to be much closer to where the Amanda-and-Carolyn scene was filmed around the Westin hotel, which I confirmed after discovering that there used to be a restaurant (Trader Vic's) just east of the hotel, where Cardero Park is now. Unfortunately, I didn't figure this out until *after* the 2015 trip, so I while I got a photo looking *toward* the right location, it wasn't quite far enough down the seawalk. These are photos of the wrong location at [49.290567,-123.125911] from my first trip to Vancouver.
